The Helambu Valley trek, is short and easy trek from Kathmandu Valley. Trekkers explore the cultural of Tibetan Buddhist and Hindu with pleasant climate. Tamang and Yolmo Sherpa inhabit Helambu region which offers you the spectacular views of Manaslu (8163m), Ganesh Himal (7405m), Langtang Lirung (7227m), Dorje Lhakpa (6966m), Gaurishankar (7145m), etc. The trek starts from Sundarijal (13 km drive from Kathmandu) after about an hour’s walk, we enter Shivapuri National Park. Continuing along the Chisopani, Kutumsang, Thadepati and Sermathang, the trek ends at the Melamchi Pul Bazar in the Helambu region.

Today after breakfast we will go for one half city tour in Kathmandu valley Buddhist Temple called Swayambhunath Stupa which known as Monkey Temple, and visit one of the world heritage sites oldest places Patan Durbar Square which gives you the glimpses of mediaeval architecture and craftsmanship which one can find in the wood carvings of the palace and temples in the square. Evening meeting with your trekking Guide.
Today morning after breakfast we will drive for 1 hour to Sundarijal, our trek starting point. We set off the trek trial up towards chisopani (2140m) a beautiful place offers outstanding view of Himalaya and natural surroundings. About 4 to 5 hours trek through the village and jungle we reach at Chisopani to stay over night.
Our trek trail leads us descends and ascends all the way to Kutumsang via Pati Bhanjyang and Gul Bhanjyang passing through the Tamang, Bhraman and chhetri village as well as the forest of oak and rhododendron. Over night at Kutumsang.
Today our journey is about 6 to 7 hours to reach Tharepati for overnight stay. We continue pass through the rhododendron forest and cross the Yerin danda with magnificent views of the Himalayas. Finally, we arrive at Tharepati for overnight stay.
Today we head for Tarkeghyang. Starting part of the trek, the trek trail descends until we cross the Melamchi Khola. Then trek up to Tarkeghyang passing through the forest and Yolmo Sherpa settlements. Enjoying the outstanding view of Himalayan and explore the village and its monastery which is one of the oldest and biggest monasteries in the Helambu region.
Today our trek is easy walk to Sermathang. We pass through the forests, streams, and waterfalls. The trail makes a sweep around the wide valley and pass beautiful the Yolmo Sherpa village of Gangyul. The people in this village practice Drukpa Kagyu Buddhisum. From Gangyul, we arrive at Sermathang. Explore the village and Buddhist monastery.
Today our final day of the trek,3 to 4 hour trek down to Malemchi Pul Bazaar.The village is mostly inhabited by the Yolmo Sherpa and Tamang From the Melamchi Pul Bazaar, we drive about 2 hours to Katmandu. After reaching Kathmandu we have the rest of the day off to rest or do some souvenir shopping.
Today after breakfast we will drop you at international airport for final departure.
