Synopsis

A short classic trek in Everest region, The Everest View trekking which is also known as Everest panorama trek is best for trekkers who wish to see the immense panoramic view of world’s highest peak Mount Everest (Sagarmatha) without reaching the Everest base camp and Kala Pattar. This trek provides best views of snow-capped mountains of Everest region like the Ama Dablam (6856m) and provides an insight on the world legendary mountaineering Sherpa’s home town, their culture and lifestyle.

Everest view trek starts with an exciting 35 minute flight to Lukla Tenzing Hillary Airport , which is known as the gateway of Everest region and continues through the lush greenery of Sagarmatha National Park which has been declared as a the Natural world heritage by UNESCO. The trek provides a wonderful exploration of Mount Everest, Amadablam, Khangtega, Khumbila, Thamserku, Kwongde, Lhotse peaks etc. The trail ends at is Thyangboche (3867 m) where one can visit the famous Thyangboche Buddhist monastery. Thyangboche is full of busy lodges and tea houses where trekkers normally stay overnight.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival in Kathmandu Active Sherpa Trekking airport representative pick you up at airport and transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu, afternoon free & rest.

Day 2 :Kathmandu city sightseeing to Swayambhunath and Patan

After breakfast our day is begin with half day city tour in Kathmandu valley, including 2000 year old Buddhist temple of Swayambhunath Stupa, situated at the top of a hill, west of Kathmandu, is one of the most popular, holy and instantly recognized symbols of Nepal. The temple is also known as the ‘monkey temple and visit Patan Durbar Square, one of the world heritage sites, gives you the glimpses of mediaeval architecture and craftsmanship which one can find in the wood carvings of the palace and temples in the square.

Day 3 :Kathmandu flight to Lukla trek to Phakding (2610m)

Today early in the morning transfer to domestic airport for scenic 35 minute flight to Lukla. Before we begin our trek to phakding we stop for hours to short out our baggage and start our trek to Phakding, today our trek trial is gradual descent, cross the suspension bridge and passing through stone carving mani walls ( written Spiritual Mantra OM MANI PADME HUNG), Buddhist pray flags, monastery and beautiful Sherpa villages.

Day 4 :Phakding trek to Namche Bazar (3440m)

Continue our trekking to Namche bazar, crossing suspension bridges over the Dudhakoshi River and we enter the Sagarmatha National park check post, we pass Jorsale village and walk alongside of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers after few hours steep ascent brings us to the capital- land of Sherpa Namche Bazar known as Gate way of Everest.

Day 5 :Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar (3440m)

Today we stop at Namche Bazar for Acclimatization. There’s an optional 2 hour hike to Everest View Point, an uphill walk that will help speed acclimatization. Otherwise, spend the day exploring Namche Bazaar visit the Sherpa museum, Monastery and there are several quality restaurants, hotels, lodges, shops, money exchange services, internet cafes and bakeries.

Day 6 :Namche Bazaar trek to Tengboche (3867m)

After breakfast we will continue our trek to Tengboche with breathtaking views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Tabuche and Kwangde, we stop over night at Tenboche, Tenboche is one the best place in Everest region with largest Buddhist Monastery.

Day 7 :Tengboche trek to Monjo (2835m)

Today early morning we enjoy sunrise view and spectacular view of Himalaya and after breakfast same way a steep descent to Monjo and continue our trail and pass Tashinga, Sansa villages and Namche Bazar before reaching Monjo.

Day 8 :Monjo trek to Lukla (2840m)

Today continue follow same trails back to Lukla and over night at Lukla,evening we celebrate happy trek end party with our trekking crew.

Day 9 :Lukla flight to Kathmandu (1350m)

Early morning fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel today your free & Leisure day in Kathmandu.

Day 10 :Kathmandu city sightseeing to Boudhanath and Kathmandu Durbar square

Today morning after breakfast we will go for half day city tour in Kathmandu visiting two world heritage site Kathmandu Durbar square and Boudhanath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, It is one of three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The Durbar Square is surrounded with spectacular architecture and vividly showcases the skills of the Newari artists and craftsmen over several centuries.

Boudhanath Stupa: The Stupa is the largest stupa in Nepal and the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. It is the center of Tibetan culture in Kathmandu and rich in Buddhist symbolist late afternoon back hotel and rest of day free for last minute shopping.

Day 11 :Departure

Today we will drop you at International airport for final Departure.
